Leo was my first Corgi ever and he sold me on the breed for life. What an amazing dog he is. Smart and beautiful. Leo has always done clever things without being trained to do them, and he is just so much fun to be with. Leo just makes me smile and I can’t imagine life without him and Randy (his little brother).

Oliver came to me as a 5 month old rescue. He turned my world (and my cats’ world) completely topsy-turvy, but now I couldn’t imagine life without him. The cats on the other hand…well, they’re adapting.

Bender came into my life the summer of 2008. His owner had given him up and he was moved from house to house, not staying in any one place longer than a week. We offered to watch Bender and it was love at first lick, he’s been with us ever since. He’s incredibly spunky and takes care in guarding the backyard – a job he takes very seriously. Bender enjoys food – both his and his parents, but he also loves playtime, cuddling, and tearing apart anything made of cardboard.

Bug is a 3.5 yo CWC. He is 1 pt from finishing his AKC championship. We are currently training in both agility and herding, but Bug far prefers herding!

Bug is easily the most loving dog I have ever met. We call him the Stress Police – he does not like anyone to have a serious conversation. If the tone gets serious he starts acting extra goofy to try and break it up.

You will rarely see Bug without a toy – if he isn’t playing with it he is using it as a pillow to rest his head on.

bubba likes mid day siestas, and barking at birds, airplanes, and butterflies. He also likes to be picked up and loves to be the alpha. el-a (short for el-amin and named after professional basketball player Khalid el-amin because she is short and stumpy like he is) loves to greet all dogs and humans, enjoys herding people and dogs, and lives for kisses from bubba. Both dogs are very smart; sometimes too smart for their own good. They love their numerous walks each day and all the attention they get through rubs, and scratches.
